The Information That DecisionClass, LLC Collects
Order. When you order, we need to know your name and e-mail address. If you order online using a payment card (credit or debit), you must provide your card number, expiration date, and mailing address. We coordinate card payment with our merchant bank's online secure payment services in a way that your card information is never stored in our database.
Login. We only use permanent “cookies” written to your hard disk if you check the “Remember Login” checkbox in the Account Login section of the home page. The information stored in the cookie is only that information necessary to support your request to remember your login information across sessions. A cookie is a small text file that does not personally identify users, although it does identify a user's computer. Cookies do not pose a threat to your computer, and they do not contain viruses. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can change this feature in your browser.
User Log. We make user log entries in a database as you perform certain activities on the site. Such information is intended to support preparing course transcripts and also allows us to understand better how users interact with the site.
Quizzes. We store user-specific quiz exercise parameters and user solutions in a database. This allows you to work on quizzes across multiple sessions and to review quiz performance over time.
How DecisionClass, LLC Protects Your Information
When you place an order using a credit card, we use our merchant bank's secure server to protect your sensitive information. Their secure server software encrypts all information you input. Your information is used only to process and send orders, bill payment cards, and to contact you when necessary.
How We Share Information with Schools that Purchase Accounts on Behalf of Their Students
Schools may purchase accounts on the site for their incoming MBA students. In such cases, school staff will have access to their students’ MBA Math account activity. School staff will have access to individually-identified activity from an individually-purchased account only if the student provides permission.
How We Share Information with Other Schools
Individually-identified information will not be shared without permission for users who purchase their account individually.
How We Share Information Among Users
The Dashboard tab has features that allow users to compare their site activity and progress with that of other users. These features do not identify other students' identity.
How We Use Information You Supply In Online Order Forms and Registration
DecisionClass, LLC does not sell or rent customer lists. No exceptions. We will communicate with you as needed to support your use of the web site. We may very occasionally communicate with you about new educational offerings we develop. And we may also very occasionally communicate with you to request feedback on your learning experience.
Of course, DecisionClass, LLC may disclose personal information if legally required to do so or if necessary to comply with legal process served on DecisionClass, LLC to protect DecisionClass, LLC rights or property or to take emergency action to protect the personal safety of users of the DecisionClass, LLC website or the public.
Removing Your Information
If you give DecisionClass, LLC your contact information over this website, and you wish to have your name removed from DecisionClass, LLC’s database, please send us an email to [email protected], and we will remove your name. We may retain records of your use after removing identifying information from those records. This is intended to protect your privacy while still allowing us to study collective site use.
